A group exhibition featuring six artists based in the Kansai region. These visual artists, who share overlapping backgrounds, reflect on their respective practices.

By likening the core of their activities to corms buried in the soil, transcending genres and generations, they explore their artistic journeys.

By communicating the ebb and flow of their journeys and the progression of their practices, they aim to energize their work, while fostering continuity and progression in their future endeavors.

Creating art is a winding process of ideas, thoughts, emotions, and physicality for the artist. Just as water cycles nourish corms in the soil, reflecting on their backgrounds enriches their understanding and enhances their work.

The exhibition seeks to embrace the joy of expression for oneself and others, aiming for new attempts where different paths and flows resonate with each other.

Featured artists:

・Yuki Harada: Continuously paints unique motifs of young girls in the genre of Japanese painting.

・Hazuki Shimmura: Attempts to recreate “memories of the city” through paintings inspired by the weathering of exterior walls.

・Sayuri Kirita F.: Sculptures convey the sensation of life energy and bloodlines, representing the unity of all things.

・Soichiro Murata: Seeks to calm himself and others through the “poetry” created by various media.

・Marin Saito: Depicts gentle flows and certainties within them through their painting’s atmosphere.

・Kana Maeda: Derives different stories by repeatedly using photographic and video images of bodies, both her own and others.
