▶展覧会内容：
既存の楽器を完璧に演奏することを目指した19世紀の自動演奏楽器。ドラムの代替物として、打楽器の音を電子音のパターンで自動演奏するリズムボックス。音楽の演奏にまつわる異なる時代の2つの機械をモチーフにしたインスタレーション。

An autoplay musical instruments that design in 19 centuries for playing musical instruments perfectly. Instead of drums, the Rhythmbox can play percussion automatically with the pattern of electric sounds. An installation based on a motif of two different machines which related to musical performances at different times.

 

▶小林椋　Kobayashi Muku : 
1992年、東京都生まれ。2017年、多摩美術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程情報デザイン領域修了。2019年、京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程彫刻専攻に修了。キネティックな動きによってささやかな音を発する音響装置から、近年ではヴィデオカメラやディスプレイといった映像機材などと組み合わせたインスタレーションを制作している。

Born in Tokyo, 1992. MFA, Information design in Tama Art University, 2017. MFA, Sculpture in Kyoto City University of Arts, 2019. Creating musical devices, which make a tiny sound from its kinetic movement. Recently working on an installation that combines the video equipment such as video camera and display.

 

▶正直　SHOJIKI:
小林椋と時里充によるユニット。「できるだけ正直に演奏する」のが彼らのモットー。2019年のアルス・エレクトロニカ、DIGITAL MUSICS & SOUND ART 部門【HONORARY MENTION】受賞。

SHOJIKI is the duo by Muku Kobayashi and Mitsuru Tokisato,
“playing instruments as honestly as possible” is their concept.
2019 received HONORARY MENTION in department of DIGITAL MUSICS & SOUND ART in Ars Electronica.
